Why ever have I been MIA this past month?!

As you all know, I will be leaving the country this month for service in the Peace Corps. This month has been non-stop for me as a result of that.To be quite honest, I am still on pins and needles about my passport, I have heard NOTHING from anyone and I need it, like NOW!

Because my parents made me quit my job, which I love and work for the shear fun of it, I have been VP of Domestic Affairs at the Bell House here in Florida. When I am not running around for whatever appointment I need to take care of, I clean and take care of what ever list Momma and Daddy Bell leave for me to do. It's not that bad, except for the fact that pretty much all my friends are in Gainesville for the summer, so I have very few people to hang out with here.

On the up-side, I discovered my Netflix account was still active, so I watched WEEDS from Season 1 to Season 5, and am about to knock out as much of Supernatural as possible. In order to replace the brain cells I have lost to the noted shows, Real Housewives franchise, The City, The Hills, Grey's, Desperate Housewives, and God only knows what other random stuff I watch, I have also started watching at least one documentary a day, and one French film a day--I need to work on French because that will be my new main language for the next two to three years. I thought about reading, but then realized, I'll have more than enough time in Africa to read. (Check out my Peace Corps Blog for more on that.)

I have also decided to post brief reviews of the documentaries I watch so you all can watch them too. I believe there is no such thing as being too informed, and like to be able to speak at least a little bit on as many topics as possible. Normally, I ended up doing a great deal of research on whatever I have just watched just to account for slant and what not.

I have pretty much knocked out the remainder of my Peace Corps stuff, so I will now be able to blog more. Hopefully I'll be able to do a blog review a day for each of the documentaries I knock out.

I'm stoked to be back, so get excited for all to come!

OH yeah! I ended up getting my dad the same watch I bought earlier this year for Father's Day. He LOVED mine and was always messing with it, so I thought it would be nice for him to have his own. I ended up giving it to him a few days after I posted my last post because the timing was PERFECT.
